Details

• Open to girls and boys 14U, 16U and 18 Under AAU, School and Rep teams.
• 4 game guarantee. A 5th game is the Grand Final!
• 2 - 20 minute halves running clock. Clock stops last 2 minutes of 2nd half. No Shot Clock.
• High School teams will automatically be placed in the 18U division.
• ALL games will be live-streamed by BALLERtv. BALLERtv means you and/or your family never need to miss another second of your team’s games by providing high quality video for streaming, and future download. You can even arrange a highlight tape to be cut from each game.
• No more than 12 players per roster along with 2 coaches and 1 manager.
• Games will be Thursday the 16th from 8am and 5pm and 17th Friday from 8am and 5pm. Friday ending time may vary based on how long the Championship games and ceremonies last.
• Team trophies, individual medals and one MVP per age group will be awarded.
• Team registration is $350 per team and includes free event entry all for all players, 2 coaches, and 1 team manager.
• Each player, coach and manager must be individually registered as an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) member. As a member of AAU, you will have opportunities to participate in AAU events worldwide, and additional benefits of partner discounts, including an Eastbay online shopping voucher. The $25 AAU Athlete Membership runs from September 1 to August 31. AAU Membership is required to participate in all AAU licensed events worlwide.
  
• All coaches and managers must have a valid Blue Card or teacher equivalent, or if from outside of Queensland, a state equivalent of a valid working with children check card.
• Once your team is registered and the rego fee is paid, a confirmation email will be sent to the contact person with a 1. Great Australian Classic Consent and Liability Waiver Release form for the players and their parents to sign 2. a Team Roster form to be filled out and returned and 3. a link to AAU Australia for your players to become members.

Age Qualifications
Age groups will follow the USA AAU format.
This means the age groups are 14 & Under, 16 & Under and 18 & Under. 
A player MUST NOT be older than their age group as of May 1, 2020.
14 & Under Division - An athlete can be 14 on or before May 1, 2020
16 & Under Division - An athlete can be 16 on or before May 1, 2020
18 & Under Division - An athlete can be 18 on or before May 1, 2020
This means if you are 14 on May 1, 2020, you will play in the 14 & Under (14U) age group.
If you are 15 on May 1, 2020, you will play 16 & Under.
ALL High School Teams will be placed in the 18U Division.
